It seems kind of like having an independent contractor who works for other entities also in a contract role. That would be from Ole Miss side with Weiss's arrangement with LSU being another contract. Quite a novel arrangement for college ball.

Never said it wasn't. But it is also hypocritical of Kiffin to have given his staff an ultimatum to leave with him only to turn around and then say was "allowing" Weiss to go back on a temporary basis.

It's a little bit different in that Weiss is going for a lateral move basically while Klein is actually getting promoted. Most good coaches will lose coordinators and position coaches if they are good head coaches. It is expected.
