Reminds me of the A&M - Kansas game when KU was up 19-3, when Mangino was there. They missed a routine kick, and nobody was paying attention except Mangino. Sure enough, the game ends with A&M throwing to the end zone down 19-11. If I'm Lanning I'm ticked at my team for coming up empty there.

TAMU 11-1, lost to Miami (3rd in the ACC).
LSU, Vols, Mizzou included in the post-season losses.
The idea that the SEC, loaded with talent, should have some inside-track or perceived dominance is a narrative that is faltering.
No need to "prop up" ACC/B12 teams when B10/SEC teams are failing to put them away.

No one gives a crap about the bowls anymore with all the opt outs and one league having 5 teams in the playoffs, so no. 6 is playing a 2 or 3 from another conference. Anyone using the bowls as any metric to conference strength is an idiot.

Big 12 is proving they aren't a p4 league. BYU and Utah have no right to complain. Tech isn't a top half of the SEC team. Too bad Ole Miss or Texas Aggies didn't get this matchup. It would be a bigger rout.
I'm really curious how our game would've turned out had there not been crazy wind blowing that limited both offenses. I have no doubt that Marcel would've sucked a whole lot less without the crazy wind and it really took away any downfield plays go both teams.
