But it was a horrible fumble. And I would still bench him and run Williams for this one.

Dickey is RB1 and their best back. He has 40% more carries than Williams.

This reminds me of the '93 Cottonbowl. Tech is like A&M with a legit defense, but an offense that can't do anything against a decent defense.

Are the rules different on when the clock starts based on accepting vs declining?
If it still doesn't start until the snap and the penalty stopped the clock with 3 seconds, they could've tried a long FG from where the play ended.

Oregon has outgained Texas Tech 198 to 88, dominated time of possession: 22:03 to 7:57, and won the turnover margin 2 to 0. Their lead is only 6 points because of several offensive miscues, including a failed 4th and goal conversion from the Texas Tech 2-yard line.

They arent running, the Tech RB has been doing a fast jog compared to the O-RB
Overall Oregon is playing faster, the Tech offense looks asleep. The bye really hurt them it seems

I don't think there's an "untimed down" on an offensive penalty. You just decline and take it to the locker room.
