Nothing against Texas Texas really. But the quicker the narrative that there are "p4" schools ends, the better. It's the Big10 and the SEC. That's it.

Tech (or the big 12) should not be rewarded for playing in what is basically the sunbelt conference.

I don't think there's an "untimed down" on an offensive penalty. You just decline and take it to the locker room.

It wasn't an untimed down though. The fact there was a penalty on the play stopped the clock when the play ended with 0:03 on the clock.

Sounds like that is where everyone is getting confused. The game clock did not run out because a penalty was called and the receiver was down before it got to 0:00.

There was still 3 sec on clock due to penalty being flagged. So was good decision to back Oregon up.

I have no problem admitting I'm wrong but on the one you act like it's a drastic difference and it is not. 141 to 199 is basically splitting. And Williams has 5, Dickey 4 in this game.

Again splitting.

And Williams average is higher and a lot more receiving yards.

Yeah, that shot of the lower bowl wasn't flattering. Seems kind of fitting that a song about crystal meth addiction was featured. Both offenses played like they were on something.

Neutral site games in Florida with Oregon and Tech don't work. Neither school travels well apparently. Do they need to play home games until the final game? Bye teams are 0-5 headed for 0-6 under this format. A month off appears to be too long.

A&M isn't the bellwether of sheet.
This Tech team would have lost 3 or more in the SEC. Miami would likely have lost more than they did but had time to figure it out and not lose games. (Just ask Texas about Florida). That's the point.

SEC, one slip up means your are effed. Even against the cellar. Acc or Big12, you can have a bad game and still recover and win. Or hav a few weeks against cupcakes to figure it out.

I miss the quick slants for short yardage. They're near impossible to cover with the receiver having inside leverage.
