Thanks for the kind words. Actually you guys screw us royally if you beat RM and finish in fifth behind us. The EPL cannot get a fifth CL spot this season. In that case the top 3 and Liverpool get the EPL's four CL spots.
I like that plan better anyway.
My understanding is that the top 4 will go no matter what. England will get 5 if Liverpool win and finish fifth now that they raised the cap to 5 teams. 4th place could have only gotten screwed if Arsenal and Liverpool had finished out of the top 4 and both won their European competitions. However, in jeff's scenario, Liverpool just winning does not help since England does not get a 5th spot if Liverpool is already in the top 4. Basically all that matters for Chelsea is finishing in the top 4, Liverpool's cup performance doesn't matter.
