Ya and its clear she's not a natural defender as her positioning kinda stinks but her upside going forward and in recovery makes up for the downside positioning, imo.

She's definitely using her speed to cover her poor positioning right now, but better teams are gonna take advantage of that

Only saw the last ten minutes of the half. I thought we looked a little sloppy. Just not receiving the ball very cleanly.

Don't like Dunn as a defender.

And as soon as I post that, Dunn shades too far away from her mark and cant recover fast enough giving Sweden and decent cross right at the end of half.

Last 15-20 mins the US settled back into their old offensive tactics of 'kick it wide and over the top to Rapinoe' or 'get it wide to Tobin and let her dribble through 4 defenders'

I turned it on at the 30 minute mark, give or take. I've not seen much of Dunn, and this 15 minutes wasn't even a hiccup of time for a first impression... but I have to assume she is much better than this showing. Turned it over 3 times, and had to make a couple of last-ditch tackles after getting beat on the flank. Watching the highlights, she also hung her goalie out on a bad decision in the 21st minute. Yikes.
I love Texas Aggie sports, but I love Texas A&M more.

Looked like Heath did a good job of screening the keeper on the goal. First time I've really watched Lavelle and am impressed. Some sloppy passes may be costly later on.

Part of the problem is that neither of the central fullbacks are stepping to the ball when its played in front of the backline and neither Lavelle not Horan are natural DMs. Then Dunn steps to ball late and leaves her man open on the flank.
