Hamm if talking career, but Morgan might pass her with 5 more strong years. Best in their prime? I'd still take Hamm.

Yea I think Morgan may be a little more gifted athletically, but memory tells me Hamm was a little more complete as a player.

In any event, it still shouldnt be offside upon a mi**** or poor touch by the defender imo. And I say this as a defender.

So dumb idea I'm sure, but I've always thought it'd be better if they made offside about any offensive player, whether "involved" or not. Take the interpretation out completely. If there's a player ahead of the last defender anywhere on the pitch, blow the whistle.

Or perhaps a less severe version of the above would be to make it "in the box" because, let's face it, if you're in the box, you're probably influencing the play.

Came here for a game update. Wrong thread, I guess.

Whatever the interpretation, it needs to be easy to handle in real-time, non-replay situations for all ages and skills levels without dubious inferences such as 'intent' or 'interference.' Again imo.

Any word on possible morgan injury?

both her and ertz will be good to go for Spain

Awesome news. But given the scary depth of the team was it that much of a concern overall?

I mean maybe not against Spain, but you want both of those ladies playing when you go against top competition
