Portland's game plan has worked great. Orlando really hasn't had any good opportunities and Portland has finished their couple.

Great tournament for Portland. Glad to see them finish it off. That goal to tie things up against lafc in the last group game I think really set us up for this run. If we had to play Seattle in the round of 16 not sure we would've advanced

Tournament was a great idea and it was fun to get to watch so many games in such a short period of time. I would love a preseason tournament of some sort every year.
Apparently MLS is thinking about having this style of tournament every year but who knows how and when they would fit it into the schedule. I think it would be awesome if it was opened up to the USL teams and create a March Madness-style tournament to replace the US Open cup.bbry81 said:
