I think something that was lost in Cannon's statement, they were just planning to kneel before the game (like has been happening elsewhere) and the plan was for the national anthem to NOT be played at all.

Yet again, our club is poorly run when it matters.

I find booing in general kind of classless no matter what the occasion and, again, that it's a little odd that if you had strong feelings about the matter you'd go to a game knowing the team and league's stance.

Bottom line, the vast majority of people in EVERY country think it is unpatriotic to make a political statement against the flag of that country thereby making political statements against that country.

I love sports so that I can get away from all this stuff. The politics behind it all is what leaves many of us quite irritated. The fact is, we all thankfully have free speech in this country. Reggie has the right to kneel and protest. We have the right to boo.

If burning the American flag is free speech then kneeling is protected too...and other Americans have the right to boo while someone is kneeling during the national anthem. It's all protected. I stand behind anyone's right to have their voice heard, literally and figuratively.

I knew SanJose was bad, but holy cow. Down 5-0 at half to Seattle, and it's now 6-0 in the 48'.

I'm gonna have to watch a replay of this one just for the spectacle of it.

SJ was just so full of quit, their man marking system got woefully exposed and also their goal was a pity penalty off of something that wasn't even a foul. They used all 5 subs at once, it looked like a dang line change.

There are a few teams (MIN and SEA for example) who have made that system look awful.

San Jose has now allowed at least 5 goals in 5/13 regular season games. No team has ever had more in any regular season in MLS.

Dynamo are such a sad organization. How many more years till they get moved to a market that will actually have fans show up and an owner that cares?

It's interesting that in my quick, unscientific perusal of Twitter, Dynamo fans are hating this and Dash fans are loving it. I'm a new Dash season ticket holder and I like it, both visually and for the support they seem to be showing for the club outside of the first team. But I think the Dash also got the better end of the rebrand...the Dynamo logo is just too complex and suffers from the lack of an accent color.

Does San Antonio's USL team outdraw the Dynamo?

I think part of the problem is majority of soccer fans in Houston still have all their loyalty south of the border with those clubs.

I love the mix of astro orange and luv ya blue, they both just scream Houston to me. Wish Dynamo had kept it around. I don't love the redesigns, but they do look good on a hat and im sure other merch as well"
