Some quick stats ahead of today's South Florida (USF) vs. Central Connecticut State (CCSU) game.
Kickoff at 2PM Central - Streamed on NCAA.com
Both teams are undefeated.
USF:- Ranked 15, RPI: 16
- 9-0-2 Record (6-0-1 Conference)
- Ties: 0-0 @ Florida, 1-1 @ Cincinnati

- USF has 5 all-conference First team honors, including Forward of the Year, Defender of the Year, Goalkeeper of the Year, and Coach of the Year.
USF also earned the Team Fair Play Award after totaling 53 fouls, four yellow cards, zero red cards during conference play. The Fair Play Award is given to the team with the fewest accumulated fouls, yellow cards and red cards in league action (foul = one point, yellow card = five points, red card = 10 points). EDIT: Oops. That was actually UCF- 7th NCAA Tournament Appearance
- Joined American Athletic Conference in 2013. Won 3 Tournament & 2 Regular Season titles in that span. This was their 2nd consecutive Conference Tournament Title.
- Memphis also qualified from the American.
CCSU:- Unranked, RPI: 20
- 7-0 Record (6-0 Conference)
- They play in the Northeast Conference.
- CCSU has 11 Northeast conference tournament titles. This is their 3rd straight.
- Outscored opponents 19-1, Outshot opponents 134-24
- The won the conference championship 4-0 without allowing a shot.
- They're the "Blue Devils" if you're wondering.
- The school is in New Britain, CT
As gaudy as their statistics are, CCSU's schedule didn't prepare them for the likes of USF. I think it's going to be ugly.
