If the rumors were accurate, MUFC was giving him a hard look.

Yeah. It might actually be a good thing it's not muscular for once.

I think he pushes himself too early too soon with muscle injuries and then they become chronic (groin at Leipzig, hammy at Leeds and Bournemouth, back at Bournemouth). This recovery/rehab ought to be more defined, so maybe he'll bounce back quickly (and for good) this time.

if he does have a set back or isn't in top form by WC roster time, or WC group stage matches begin, y'all comfortable with Johnny, Tessmann, or Sands at #6? Or have more of an 8 like McKennie play 6? I don't know who else is on the radar at that position - Aiden Morris? Kellyn Acosta? Berhalter?

I feel like Musah has played the 6 some? We could do worse than McKennie there if it came to that.

there's some versatility in there and this guy has Weah as a RB. I guess he plays RWB for club. not sure if Poch ever put him at RB for USMNT though.. also projecting Dest as a winger; I know he has played both FB, WB, and Wing over the years for club. Not sure if he's really a winger for Poch or still USMNT's best RB that can also play LB.
