I was randomly thinking about this while watching Minnesota vs FC Dallas and Wil Trapp was mentioned. Damn I hated watching him play with a USMNT jersey on…then I asked myself, "Self, who is your least favorite USMNT players ever?"

Zardes? Wondo? Who remembers Frankie Hejduk's awkward ass running around like crazy? I'm sure there's going to be some names mentioned that I haven't thought of but I thought it would be a fun topic.

My pick is Jeff Agoos though. Dude was horrible but he did score possibly the best struck goal in the history of the World Cup…against his own team versus Portugal in 2002.

Jovan Kirovski was a guy that had so much hype at the time and just never did a damn thing.

I mentioned Wondo because he's hated on by so many USMNT fans but I liked him. He was simply a poacher and was always in the right spot, just wasn't the flashy or athletic striker that many want. That Belgium miss was terrible and just gave the haters all the ammo they'd ever need

I think adding to angst towards Wondo (warranted or not) was that he was the one who ended up taking the spot vacated controversially by Landon.

Any of the players that became American just so they can play in the World Cup.

I'd like to say that I'm shocked that there aren't more Bradley and Altidore mentions here.

Neither would make my list. I don't even think I have a list unless we're counting coaches and/or USSF execs. Just surprised they haven't been mentioned yet.

Yeah, it was maybe the most frustrating sports event I've ever watched. Ghana committed something like 35 fouls that match and then the soft penalty and a couple near misses…

I was not a Jozy fan at all but he isn't even close to making my list. I actually liked Bradley a lot but he ended up having to play the role of creator for us and that just wasn't his game.

Cobi Jones was also one of my least favorite guys.
