The 2024-25 Premier League fixtures have been announced, so we’ve looked at the schedule to analyse which teams have the easiest & toughest starts to the new season.
Just 59 days to wait until the action begins.
Tough start, but I like getting those away trips out of the way early.
And being done with the North London derby and Man City by early February is nice too

Brutal first 6 and the last 6 are not easy either. Citys first 6 are not weak but the end is a cake walk.
Given all the BS that City has put the league through with the "115" you would think there would be a vested interest in giving them the hardest start and finish to the season as possible.

At this rate just give him another shot when he's healthy. We've been evolving away from the Zinchenko experiment at LB anyways.

You can't sell him right now either though. That looked like a serious hamstring injury. He's probably done through the start of the season. He's gonna be in that Cedric role this year. He'll only have 1 year on his contract next summer
Martinelli apparently got hurt in Brazil training yesterday as well and Saliba also apparently has a minor ankle issue
Yeah, we probably can't sell Tierney for anything. I'm not saying give him the weekly starting job and depend on him. But let him rotate in some when he's healthy and see if something works.

Gallagher may be an upgrade as a situational squadie for us but I dont see him fitting in as a L8 starter.

Sounds like we backed off the obligation a bit. Current deal looks to be a loan with an option to buy and the option becomes an obligation if certain conditions are triggered. Not heard anything about specifics but considering it is a loan to start it won't do much to help FFP/PSR this summer.

I don't know the credibility of this guy but I have been seeing links to Calafiori for a couple weeks now. He had looked destined for a move to Juve but Bologna don't want to sell to them and we have a solid relationship with them from previous deals. Supposedly Jorge has been pushing us to make a move for him. Would likely mean that Kiwior or OZ are moved.

ESR - supposedly Fulham have made him their #1 priority
Eddie - rumored interest from Palace, Fulham, West Ham & Brighton
Nelson - rumored interest from Palace & Brighton. seems the least likely to leave of our potential HG outgoings.
Vieira - Porto want him back but it would have to be on loan or a swap deal
Partey - PIF teams sniffing around again. claims that they are offering a high enough salary to convince him to leave now.
That's because they owe Basel a 40% sell-on for anything over 6m. I'm wondering how a player swap would impact the sell-on? could we send them Kiwior + 5-10m? Also, we spent more on White (euro vs GBP) and from what I've seen Calafiori looks like he could be a left-footed White. If we sell Kiwior we would also be asking 40m.
