Refs really blew the dead-ball foul. They whistled Marion, but he didn't touch anybody. Looked like Roy and JET had some contact, but nothing worthy of whistle. He missed the technical, so it's okay.

That ten minute stretch was shockingly bad. Team missed everything and committed a ton of turnovers.

The five minute stretch were Dirk went nuts was awesome. To steal from Bill Simmons, he looked like the German avenging his brother's death in Die Hard.

Kidd might have sealed the victory with another clutch three pointer.

Good win for the Mavericks.

It's a nice luxury to have three starters who shoot free throws at 85% or better. Really helped down the stretch.

Dirk shaking off the cold shooting and went blitzkrieg down the stretch. That 3 from the corner was money.

It was clutch. I wanted to see a replay of it, because I thought his toes were on the line.

Jason Kidd was saying on the radio last week that he had found and corrected a hitch in his shot. Damned if I don't believe him after last night.

And the 4Q for Dirk last night is another exhibit in a long line of evidence. TAKE DAT WIT YOOO!!

His shot does look a little different. Looks like he jumps a little bit more and has a higher release.

Yeah but if the first few days of games has taught me anything, you better have an insurmountable lead down the stretch because the refs can and will make some calls at the most crucial of moments.

Honestly the refs have been very fair so far. Best I've seen all playoffs.

Refs aren't a problem. Blazers are hitting jump shots which they weren't in the first game. I think the Mavs have no choice but to live with it and take their chances. Both teams playing well.

Jason Kidd is playing like All-Star this series. If he keeps making three-pointers, the Blazers are dead. They keep switching so he can't pop the 3pt at top of key. That leaves Dirk guarded by midget. Easy money.

Oh yeah. I've heard Dirk Nowitzki pronounced with a "W" more in last month than in last few years. Where have these guys been for last ten years? Plus, it's typical for German name. Pretty embarrassing to keep getting it wrong.

Do you really think that Dirk Nowitzki's father pronounces his name "Hor Hey"? How about "George"? Or perhaps "Yorge"?
