Because we don't really have point guard playing right now. Whatever kidd's drawbacks are, he knows how to get our players the ball in their comfort zone, and how to keep them involved in the game.

Dirk is moving better in this game than I have seen all year. Cutting, rebounding, driving the hoop, running the floor. He looks good.

just Jet being Jet, but if he says that any past year then we're all *****ing about how the Mavs will never win a title because they cant decide how to close out games. How this was a nice regular season win but we all know they will choke in the playoffs.

But now in a post championship world I can fully embrace Jason Terry and appreciate what he brings with no angst. I'm really enjoying this season.

I thought Kidd was great tonight, and when he got too tired Delonte was the x-factor that sealed the game.

TheMarcus continues to improve, but we know that he always chokes in the playoffs so who cares (Zing!)

Close. But man are the mavs starting to look better. Once they are clicking with Lamar, this is going to be a team no one will want to play come playoff time.

Yeh Kidd threw an inbounds pass he had absolutely no business trying to make.

Butler's shot wasn't really very close, but he had a good look at it.

Mavs pull out a close one. Good win for them. SA can't build a bigger division lead even with a 7 game streak going.

San Antonio is at a pretty soft part in their schedule... they should keep winning. I still think they are a very flawed team though.

They do have flaws. For sure. But I wouldn't call a nine game road trip that finishes at LA, Portland, Utah and Denver soft.

Oops, I'll be honest, and say that I just looked at their last two and next two which were all crap teams. Got me there bud.

Time to sit Kidd. Forever. I've supported him (and the Mavs) since he came back, but it's obvious that he now adds almost nothing. Not hitting 3s. Bad turnovers. Time for Carlisle to take a note from D'Antoni and make Beaubois the starter.

I'm not saying Roddy is Jeremy Lin, but when Kidd is on the court, Dallas is playing 4 on 5 offense. Roddy will make mistakes, but at least he contributes offensively. I say give Roddy the rest of the year to prove if he can be the full time PG. If not, go after someone else for next season.
