has deron ever won 78 percent of his games this late in the season? it's most valuable player, not best stats.

CP3 is the best PG in the league - best offensively, best defensively, best leader. The Clippers are a .500 team without him.

That said, MVP hasn't always gone to the best player. If you want to give it to the best player on the best team, then Parker fits the criteria.

This has me thinking. Who in the NBA, if ever, has had their best season this late in their career? Tony Parker is doing this at year 12. Dude is incredible.

I agree with Diet, not all of us hate other Texas teams. I really like watching Harden play.

Far from his best season, but Kobe is averaging 27/5/6 in his 17th season. The man is timeless.

Flavor of the month, microwave society, etc.

I'd rather have Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook, Derrick Rose, or Deron Williams on my payroll. Parker is a top-5 PG, he's not the best.

Typical spurs fans always declaring themselves the greatest and getting ahead of themselves. Remember last year when all we heard was this is the most well-oiled, unstoppable, 5-man machine the game has ever seen? Then OKC happened. Spurs fans are the worst, they have only one team to root for in the entire city, so they go annoyingly overboard with everything.

Well to be fair, Parker was about 14 when he started playing with the Spurs.

when cleaning up your butthurt in the morning, does regular toilet paper work, or do you have to go extra strength and bring the baby wipes?

you probably think duncan is fringe top 5 PF of all time and the spurs got "lucky" winning 4 titles.

what a f***ing dunce.

LOL. I get called a dunce because I *gasp* have a different opinion that isn't colored by black-and-silver glasses. Talk about proving my point about spurs fans being exceedingly over-protective and obnoxious about their 1 professional sports team.

Just look at it this way:

-If San Antonio called the Clippers and said we'll trade you Paul for Parker straight up, the Clippers would say no.

-If San Antonio called the Nets and said we'll trade you Deron for Parker straight up, the Nets would say no.

-If San Antonio called the Bulls and said we'll trade you Rose for Parker straight up, the Bulls would say no.

-If San Antonio called the Thunder and said we'll trade you Westbrook for Parker straight up, the Thunder would say no.

There's your proof he's not the best PG in the league. He's at best top-5, but maybe only top10 because I forgot about Rondo. If the Spurs made that call I'm pretty sure the Celtics would turn it down too.

Anyways, sorry for interrupting your circle-jerk, you may carry on.

Oh, so we're just calling random speculation "proof" nowadays, is that it? Has little to do with being a Spurs fan and more to do with understanding the value a player like Parker brings to a team.

You, sir, are a hater. Just admit it and move on. Or do you have more "proof" for us? LOL
