Last years team was really unlikable.

I love that this team seems to like each other and are all pulling in the same direction. The fact that they are playing so well and exceeding my most optimistic expectations has made this a really fun start to the season.

I just can't imagine KJ wouldn't be a better option for what Brewer is supposed to be doing.

At this point in his career Brewer should be an all star for a Chinese league team.

Yeah this was another game that showed Capela isn't "there" yet. He's like young Hakeem in that he runs like a gazelle, but there's a lot of guys who can back him down. It's frustrating.

So the Rockets are definitely just messing with DMO right now, correct?

They have the league office involved in the situation now...I can't image how this will end with DMO being under contract with the Rockets (and happy).

I'm ready to move on at this point. I think he would have been a solid addition, but he is constantly hurt and I don't want to see our chemistry suffer from having him in the locker room

It tells me that Pringles doesn't trust him to guard a offensively skilled big man down the stretch. Not a disaster at this point in Clint's career. He just needs some more skills to go along with all that athleticism.

Would love to see this team acquire a rim protector and rebounder.

Here is the last I heard:

The intriguing part to me is that he obviously passed the physical in Brooklyn but not in Houston. Yet, we have no clear details saying why he failed said physical. Going to need a short memoir to explain everything that has happened in the D-Mo saga these last few weeks. Becoming rather annoying....

No reason to be worried. Capela is only 22 and probably packed on 20 pounds this summer. I imagine he could do something similar this summer and become an unstoppable force.

He needs time, but his development year to year has been impressive. His skill around the basket has been especially impressive this year. Not hard to imagine him being a top five center in 3 years when he is 25 and in the prime of his career.
