BAM is poison pill, so it is really complicated for a while. You couldn't do it straight up.

It ain't happening, I just wanted to dream. They gave Bam the max. They know what he can do. That pill ain't poisonous...it's candy.

I'd like us to bring James back. It could be disastrous, but if everything went right this team could easily be better than last year and maybe Harden's best. I like Silas, I want to see what he can do with James, John and Boogie. If Harden could just see the virtue of being a good teammate he would actually be successful. I'd like to give Silas a chance to convince James to be a different player. McHale was a fool, pringles was a pleaser and pushover. Silas might be an actual coach... something the franchise (and James) desperately needs.

Either way, I wouldn't take 1 dime, 1 nickel and 5 pennies for a dollar. Ask for a dollar, if they don't give it..just keep your own dollar and make the best of it.

TBH I had to look up what an "AP" was. Apparently it's a hipster Rolex.

And yes, as a general rule you should not listen to people wearing $150k watches talk about wasting opportunities to help the oppressed.

But like you said, he's not wrong. I mean if you had to be unimpeachable to make a valid point, Texags would not exist.

Not sure why the Heat would bother trading for Harden at all. They were in the Finals last year and had 2 huge pieces injured or maybe it's Bron Bron losing another Finals.

I don't James Harden gives a **** about black lives, people in general, or about politics. Not saying he has malicious intent towards people but he's not a social worker.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if he was a straight ticket R voter for pocketbook reasons.

Harden knows that him and Wall are a playoff team but not a contender, thus why he still wants to be moved.

I'm not sure what the offers have looked like but Harden will be gone by the trade deadline.

I agree. He knows his best shot is cake-walking to the finals in the East and hopefully beating LeBron in the final series as opposed to going through the West. Harden would make the Rockets more relevant but I still don't see the Rockets getting to the finals with him. Harden knows this. It would suck because we may not even make the post-season w/o Harden, but at least with a trunk of assets there is something to look forward to.

As it stands right now, it'll probably be rinse and repeat of the last few years unless we can get another superstar sometime during the season, which seems unlikely.

Another reason I want him to go to The Sixers is because it would be a lot of fun to see those brutal fans turn against him and boo him mercilessly when he plays halfhearted defense & whips passes five rows deep into the seats during the playoffs as he likes to do, and throw batteries at him & whatever else fans like do in Philadelphia.
