Cousins looks like he's in great shape! Playing well to start
I love his postgame quote for a lot of reasons:

"It shows that it's still a really good team here, regardless of the circumstances that are floating around the team right now. It's still a really good team in place, a lot of talent. We're not rolling over because a few pieces are missing. We're going to go out and perform. Hopefully, those pieces join us and we continue to improve as a team."
Wood will be back. This was directed at Harden and Tucker. First of all it's awesome that he refers to Harden and Tucker as "pieces"...and I don't think it's meant to be pejorative. Obviously Cousins and Wall have to prove they are healthy, but both these are guys that have been multiple-time all-stars and 2nd and 3rd team All-NBA guys that have been the best player on bad teams. Even without Harden this is the best team Wall has ever been on and Cousins has played 16 minutes per game in a total of 8 playoff games so you can image that they are pumped up to be on this team. Harden has had a bunch of quotes about "needing more pieces", so he shouldn't be offended and I love that we are considering him another piece of the puzzle just like everyone else.
Also Tucker can GTFO with being upset about his contract status. Harden's entitlement is rubbing off. Look Tucker is great in ways that we all know about and it's easy to root for his blue collar background and his gritty underdog style. I have always been a fan. It's also hard to find a tough humble guy who will know his role and stay in his lane and that has been essential on these Harden teams where James is hogging the oxygen. That said...
Tucker is a 35 year-old role player and he has played his role well, but how in the world can he be shocked that the organization wants to play this year out see how it goes?
