Even if it were a dig at his real dad, that announcer better get his story about how he thought it was the Kevin Porter of Washington Bullets really fast if he wants a chance at keeping his job.

I was actually watching the Wizards feed and I heard it. I think it was an honest mistake. I remember thinking..."I didn't know KPJ's dad was in the league"....
They weren't a very good broadcast team in my opinion. Not very knowledgeable of their opponents...pretty obvious now.
I think it was just a dumb mistake and terrible luck. If KPJ's dad was an accountant, this would be a benign mistake.Texaggie7nine said:
Was it an honest mistake or could the announcer be that ballsy?I’m learning that there was a man named Kevin Porter who played PG for the Washington Bullets from 1979-1983.

It would make way more sense that the announcer here was mistakenly referring to THAT Kevin Porter as KPJ’s father. Sincerely hope that’s the case. https://t.co/fOKVHFfjlr

Trade deadline is a month from yesterday. I have to imagine we are looking to trade EG. He has been playing well so I would think there is a market for him.
God don’t like ugly. That’s why I got 2 championships and UTAH ain’t got nothing but pure disappointment. Meet me on the Richmond strip Htown bc tonight we partying like it’s 1994.

Hey @marioelie1 call up Rob, Sam, Kenny, OT, Bull and Dream. Bottles on me tonight. And grab Hornacek so he can tell us more stories about how Utah sucks.

Love Mad Max, but let's not forget that he quit the team and bailed on the playoffs after a loss to Utah. All is forgiven after the end result, but not sure I'd be bragging about that 2nd ring after bailing on my guys like that.CFTXAG10 said:God don’t like ugly. Brooklyn falling out of favor with James (which is shocking because James is usually such a team player) could really accelerate the rebuild.Harry Dunne said:
On another front, there is talk about Harden not being sold on Brooklyn long-term (shocking!). Really hoping that whole things blows up and they go into a rebuild, making our picks we got for him all of the sudden very valuable.
I'm assuming we would have to be well compensated to do this but they idea of watching Westbrick get meaningless triple-doubles on 3-22 shooting nights sounds horrible.Head Ninja In Charge said:
If these bums are seriously talking about bringing Westbrook back, I'm going to set fire to Toyota Center.
Don't Westbrook and Wall have similar contracts? What would be the difference? We likely wouldn't play either one. Actually, LA has their backs against the wall with an aging Lebron and a small window. If we could swap Westbrook and Wall and get anything of any value in addition, what's the downside for us?WES2006AG said:I'm assuming we would have to be well compensated to do this but they idea of watching Westbrick get meaningless triple-doubles on 3-22 shooting nights sounds horrible.Head Ninja In Charge said:

He doesn't have a no trade clause. He may want to play.....good for him. We'd have no reason or obligation to play him. If things aren't fixable in LA, they have a need for Wall, who we're choosing not to play anyways. If they are willing to give anything at all in exchange for taking Westbrook we'd be silly not to do it, IMO.WES2006AG said:
Nothing if he actually doesn't play. I would imagine he would want to play giving how he seems to thrive statistically on bad teams. Who know though.

If we can get a future first rounder for him, then it's worth making the trade regardless. A guy not playing + a first rounder is better than just a guy not playing (for the same salary). By 2027 LeBronto is gone and that Lakers pick might actually be decent.AG@RICE said:Head Ninja In Charge said:Russ does it again 🥴 pic.twitter.com/pdlBOfg75N

The clip doesn't show it but Russ actually dribbled the entire possession, didn't let a single teammate touch the ball, and then hucked up that horrendous shot.
I hope we can trade Wall for him. I feel like he is stupid enough to take a buyout if we say he will never play again.
