These are the kind of games that hurt chasing certain playoff spots.
Brunson carried this team when Luka missed games. That stuff adds up in seeding. Could be the diff between a 3 or 4 seed and the play-in. So far in both losses, Brunson would have made a big impact in altering the outcome (since both involved 3rd qtr scoring droughts while Luka rested).AndersHolmvik said:
Brunson wasn't Brunson until late last season. We're struggling to find rhythm with such a ball dominant star, but I do feel like we'll figure it out
I guess but... the Pelicans looked legit... and we still can't defend the rim.PatAg said:
It is way too early for you all to be carrying on like this.

More than made up for it in OT. This is his MVP year.Zachary Klement said:
Horrrrrrrible turnover by Luka to set up that KD dunk to tie. Man gotta be better than that.
The sooner Nash gets out of there the better. He is not having fun.GigEmMortis said:
Was only able to catch the last few minutes of overtime so my apologies if I missed it, but it'll be interesting to see how deep into the season we keep Wood on the bench during crunch time. He is too big of a weapon on offense to keep on the sidelines.
That being said, always great to get a win on the road. Unfortunate it had to be at the expense of Nash though

NBA teams were 9,975-1 when leading by 16+ points in the final four minutes of the fourth quarter over the last 25 years, per @ESPNStatsInfo.

Make that 9,975-2 after the Mavericks’ miracle loss to the Thunder.
Reminds me of a playoff game up in Oklahoma that year the mavs won the championship. The mavs were down by 15 points in under 5 minutes to go and game back to win.fightinags2013 said:NBA teams were 9,975-1 when leading by 16+ points in the final four minutes of the fourth quarter over the last 25 years, per @ESPNStatsInfo.

Green was +1 tonight, so "still counts". Maxi was -16. Ouch.M.C. Swag said:
Josh Green with his 7th consecutive game as a "+" player. He doesn't stuff the stat sheet but his hustle and energy impacts the game in a huge way.
And shouts out to Powell. He saved this game.
