I wouldn't be surprised if the league comes out and says that the flagrant 2 was warranted but a foul should have also been called on Mcdaniels. That is their way of protecting themselves from saying he needs to miss a game.

It should have been Flag2 on Wemby and Flag1 on Slim. At the very least a foul on Slim. They replayed it and still didnt call the foul that couldn't have been more obvious and they had multiple fouls to call just on him

What is funny is that Fitch was mad he didnt get a timeout when he called it but some refs on X replayed it and Minn didnt have possession at the time so he couldnt get the timeout.

Good experience regardless. We are shooting like **** from three and the line and have given up 9 offensive rebounds and still have the lead.

I think at a bare minimum the league needs to make grabbing and holding points of emphasis. Take the egregious ones like what McDaniels was doing and treat it like the reckless closeout and it's a tech.

Here's the eternal Optimist in me: all these hacks that aren't getting called is teaching our boys one thing; to fight through adversity even when the refs are against you. That is going to be huge against OKC, assuming we make it that far, because we know how that series is gonna go
