This is my thought too. He's coming off one of his best starts yet, and they want to keep his confidence going. Pitching in Lancaster isn't the best place to do that because people hit home runs like it's nothing in that ballpark. Send him to AA with some of the more advanced prospects in a more "normal" ballpark and see how he responds

AJ Reed ended up with a 14.7% BB and 14.7% K ratio. He slashed .306/.420/.516 in 150 plate appearances in the NY Penn League.

Ryan Bottger 8.8% BB and 14.8% K rate and slashed .313/.395/.495 in 114 PAs.


The 2014 draft may still have 3-6 big leaguers in it without even signing the 1.1.

The Astros had Appel in to throw a bullpen session to let Strom see him, and apparently there is some major enragement on the part of some of the nobodies on our major league roster. It's a regular Jeff Bagwell/Biggio prospect entitlement temper fit. I hate baseball players. **** 'em.

Everyone knows that the 'stros offense is, for the most part, anemic. So, will someone PLEASE tell the starting pitcher, if they want any chance to win a ball game, then don't go out in the first inning & give up a crooked number???? This has been a pattern for much of the year. Frustrating.

I think they wanted to get him out of there. Hopefully after a poor start to the season, it just got stuck in his head. He had a great last start, and hopefully the promotion will get him pumped and he'll keep playing well

Swept. By the Marlins. At home. Again, got behind early and couldn't catch up. 5-game losing streak. The Astros have led in a game ONE TIME in that streak. At least we're not the Rangers.
