Sam Houston commit apparently

those girls are pansies for not getting up in her face.
quote:How about for not trucking her ass since she's in the baseline without the ball and no play imminent... The runner has a right to the baseline and base, the catcher does not, unless she's making a play... there's obviously no play on either of those... if not the first time, she should have at least been on her ass the second time
those girls are pansies for not getting up in her face.
quote:Runners both returned and touched home plate.
- Neither runner touched home as best I saw.
- Blue was paying less attention than a dad's pitch outfielder
- Catcher was out of position by being on the baseline without the ball or not about to make a play (as stated above)
- Coach should have taken one of the team and gotten in Blue's face over it

@ESPN just posted the video to their Twitter account..
Soooo Ya basically the entire country now knows about this story.
quote:Depends on the sport, the league, the school district, and the school.
And if you are ejected from a HS playoff game you have to sit the next game.
quote:OMG, are you blind or just ignorant? Runner initiated contact? Is she related to you? If not, you're simply dumb.
Meh, looks like the runner initiated contact. The catcher just pushed her off with her elbow. If the runners weren't uncoordinated as hell they wouldn't have fallen and this wouldn't have ended up on the internet.
The second runner looks like she wants to fight and the catcher don't give a s***.
quote:
I'll weigh in as a former catcher. The first runner was attempting to take the catcher out! Catcher was not blocking the plate! There was room to cross the plate without any contact! The second play which came on a latter hit the catcher would have been alert to the runner trying to do the same thing! She did the right thing and I admire her toughness!

Apparently she has lost her scholarship to Sam Houston.

Are you kidding?? Coached softball. Not even close! Catcher was absolutely wrong!
You admire her?? Really? Eject her ass!
I can see your point on the second play but not the first. Runner clearly lowered the shoulder to take her out! There was no play at the plate for BOTH players not just the catcher! I agree with you on the second play.
