Bring on the scabs. There are so many minor league players with no chance to ever make the bigs. MLB is cutting back on the numbers in the minors. Why don't they bring on those that want to play MLB baseball and get them in uniform. Opportunity of a lifetime.

I hope it all burns down. Ticket prices and salaries are too crazy anyway.

I lived in Houston in the Heights from 2000-2006 and could get in and out of an Astros game, with a hot dog and water, for about $12. If I had a $20 I could get a ticket and three beers. And they were really good then.

For me baseball is 8u coach pitch, Sophomores trying to make Varsity, JUCO, the College World Series, and nowadays the KBO. I get that the health of the sport overall depends on MLB because my son asks me every day when the MLB is going to play. But I could care less at this point.

All of this talk about an asterisk is nonsense. Of course it will be a different season and a different championship, but I am not ready to downplay the accomplishment in this environment.

The only things that should have any kind of asterisk should be records like BA, ERA, etc.

It ABSOLUTELY will be viewed as an asterisk season...one long spring training session, way more injuries than usual, skewed stats and crappy ball. Would love to see some team that would have no business being in the playoffs go on a sudden hot streak and sneak in and "win" it all. The circling of the drain of the former past time will continue.
