Long tweet, but it mentions Blue Jays are the only other team with a 6 year offer, and then describes how much of a wreck they are. It's likely Boras's ego that's holding up a deal rather than Alex.

I get that. And don't think I said it was because of Bregman. If I did, not what I meant at all. But regardless it gave him a second chance with us. Which isn't common.

how do partial season ticket plans work? they sent an email saying they were available for purchase now, but, looks like only about 10 seats available to choose from? are you supposed to email them for more options?

cheap access to games was great. i remember signing some petition about rsn's in the 2011-2013 era for the astros, and then the astros gave me a pair of lower bowl tickets every month for a couple years.

I vaguely remember a story about how Boras was Maldy's agent after 2018. Allegedly, he wanted to go back to Houston, and Boras hid houstons offer from him and he ended up on a one year deal with KC. I think Martin fired him after that.

His WAR last year was 0.8, but he averaged 2.4 the past half decade. Isn't the rule of thumb around $8-$10 million per WAR? Not sure how a one-year "prove it" contract affects that, or the current OF free agent situation, but I doubt you get him for nothing.
