Ort is my dawg. I remember arguing he should have been on the postseason roster over JV and some on here didn't take too kindly to it.EastCoastAgNc said:Kaleb Ort is my “Watch out for this guy you might not know about” in 2025 https://t.co/Bc497UGBJx

I was against it as of 6 weeks ago. I didn't think we'd find a package that made sense. But Dana fleeced the Cubs.Mr. Awesome Time said:
I 'member the mere mention of Tucker being traded in the Astros thread a year or 2 ago got folks laughed at, yet here we are.

Personally I see it as a fleecing, given that Tucker is a one-year rental. I'm high on Paredes, but really excited to have Cam Smith in the fold. He's the gem of the trade IMO.MaxPower said:
I wouldn't call that a fleecing. That was about what I would expect for a year of Tucker. Keep in mind we are much higher on Paredes than everyone else seems to be. Hopefully just a situation where he didn't fit that team / ballpark.
Baseball Trade Value had it so lopsided their model wouldn't have accepted it.MaxPower said:

Don't sleep on Wesneski either. Our pitching lab will turn him into a solid mid/back-end starter for the next 5 seasons.Wabs said:Personally I see it as a fleecing, given that Tucker is a one-year rental. Highly doubt we would get more for three months of him
I agree. Immediate reaction I thought we got fleeced but i believe time will prove that to be wrongtexasaggie2015 said:
Fair, but I really don't think we gave up all that much for Kikuchi. Time will tell and I could be proven wrong.
Or the multiple bans handed out late last June when some of us posted that they smelled a rat, and the rat's name rhymed with Slim Blosschnagle.Mr. Awesome Time said:

Because 2 years ago it was laughable.
We were right in the middle of a WS run
Tucker was cheaper than he is now
Tucker had 3 more years before being a FA
Soto's insane deal had not reset the OF market
A lot has changed in 2 years
Yeah i figured he was gone before a most folks prob began to even consider it might happen. Good riddance.Jose Cruuuuuuuuuuuuz said:Or the multiple bans handed out late last June when some of us posted that they smelled a rat, and the rat's name rhymed with Slim Blosschnagle.Mr. Awesome Time said:

Love all the Bregman Astros nonsense on social media. Alex is/isn't coming back, he won't take less than $30M, Boras is ruining everything. But my favorite part, assuming there's some truth in there, is Jim Crane always looks like he's thinking "bitch, who else givin' you $30M?" pic.twitter.com/nhue1Lir6A
