Abreu tore it up in Spring Training. Then against tuned up MLB pitching, he was awful. Jake isn't even doing that.

I'm concerned, I'll admit it.

Take everything you see in spring training with the biggest grain of salt you can find.

Lots of guys working on different things- whether it's mechanics in their swings, new pitches, etc.

If its good enough to host all of your regular season home games, then it's good enough to host postseason. Also might be cool to see a small stadium highlighted like that… I'd watch just to see the atmosphere

I think it would be hilarious to have TB play a home playoff game at the Yankees spring training facility and have the Yankees be the away team.

I'm not saying I agree with it. I think Ken Rosenthal talked about it during the off-season and said they likely wouldn't be allowed to play their home playoff games there. Not enough seats. I think the rays would be handled differently, they certainly didn't ask to be in the situation they're in.

I think he's probably underestimating the amount of LF vs 2B Altuve will play. However, I do love that fact we're going to play matchups, make defensive switches, etc. It's nice to have 7-8 guys who are locked into a positions and pretty dang good at those positions, but by doing lose we lost out of opportunities to play match ups and take advantages of platoons.

kind of forgot that Soto is returning to the scene of the crime so to speak

Soto and the Mets open the season in Houston

just like Soto and the Yankees opened the season in Houston last year
