Roddery Munoz is a reliever for the Cardinals who had 11 IP last season, with an ERA of 8.18 and a FIP of 7.7

His ERA for the first half of the season was 8.1, during the 2nd half of the season, 8.3.

small sample size, obviously they like his stuff enough to use a roster spot on him and if it doesn't work, they don't lose out on anything, except maybe Logan VanWey's 40 man spot

And I will say Dana and the pitching evals get a bit of leeway. They have found some absolute diamonds in the rough especially in the BP.

Guys like Taylor Scott, Caleb Ort, Okert, Alexander just off the top of my head were guys who came from out of nowhere with previously unassuming numbers and they turned out to be very effective pieces for this team.

Same reason why I'm optimistic on the couple of signings here recently. Weiss and the other dude who's name slips my mind.

Anderson Brito & Jacob Melton are players the Rays like per Rome on his pod. I would easily trade both for Baz.

The Astros have talked to the Royals about pitching too. They need OF help.

Astros have interest in SP Mike Burrows (Pirates).

Red Sox (one of many) have interest in Paredes and are willing to trade from their young pitching.

Not much interest in Walker.

When was the last time we took a rule 5 player? Feels like it's been a while.
