This will be interesting. The group of guys I play golf with went to 13 MLB games last year. Today there were some saying they may not go or at least will cut back.

Yall will appreciate this. The last few years I have really enjoyed getting into keeping score in a scorebook every time I go. I guess it combines my love of baseball and data.

I've gotten obsessed with playing disc golf after not playing it regularly for about 20 years. Hopefully it can get me to spring training.

I havent' watched Aggie baketball once and hven't watched the Rockets since opening night.

Aggie basketball is incredibly fun to watch. MLB's college showcase is February 13-15 at the spring training stadiums around Phoenix. My friends and I are looking forward to 3 days of baseball. It won't be long now.

The Texans season ended poorly but they had a pretty good run. They've also made the playoffs every year Demeco has been coach. And the Rockets are 5the in the western conference. Right now, based on last season, the Astros are the "worst" of the three.

Not sure we are in sports "hell."

What would it take for us to get Donovan from STL? I assume Parades would have to be part of the package, but do we even have enough in terms of prospects to make a legitimate offer?

I don't think the Cards have any interest in Paredes. They're not competing in 2026. They'd want cheap pre arb and prospects.

I think he just needs a fresh start, and he's good for about 20 HRs/year.

He's a younger Cedric Mullins with more power locked up until 2030. He's also only 24.

The other owners should just take the approach of fielding a salary minimum team, and just tank. There is no "competitive" anymore.

Walker has 2 more years, since we can't trade him? What is the future at 1B after him? Do I suggest everyone's favorite debate..."Teach Cam to play 1st!!!" Or do we spend the next draft getting every 1B prospect coming out of HS and college?

Even more fun, let's put altuve over there, we'll just need someone with an absolute cannon at 3B to make up for his 2 foot less of stretch

ETA: Honestly I wish we could teach Yordan to play 1B.

I feel for Lance. If he could have stayed healthy he would have been a #1 level guy and worth every penny of that contract. His stuff was electric. It still moves like a whiffle ball. Problem is he doesn't know where it's going anymore and he's lost 4-5 mph.
