He has major swing and miss concerns but has something the other two don't, which is that he can play a legit CF. He's a (very) poor man's Crow-Armstrong. As long as he can hunt RHP and make just enough contact he will be a big league player. Getting his k rate below 30% would be a major win for him.

I accidentally clicked on the Immaculate Grid thread this morning. That thread is… weird as hell. It's like 3 teenagers playing Dungeons and Dragons over their mom's coffee table.

Anyway, time is running out. Are the Astros done? Seems like Boston doesn't want to trade, so I'm guessing the team is set.

I think one of Houston or Boston will flinch and cave in for a lesser deal than they initially wanted.

I think it may be Dana who flinches.

I still have hope that Dana will pull off a trade that nets us a left handed bat but my confidence in him has been waning. We can only hope.

If no one meets or demands prior, he should play it that way.

With what they have, they should be very competitive until the ASB and trade deadline.

Meh you always want the best deal but ultimately one party is always more interested than the other. I will say that Isaac really only fits on certain teams. While Boston is one of those teams, they have leverage in that Duran or Abreu would be coveted by every other team.

He will be fine if we play all our games at National League parks. If he has to bat at Daikin for half the games, it might be an issue.

Been a pretty quiet few days. Nothing new has come up on my end.

The Astros and Boston have continued conversations but nothing is close right now. That could change quick though. We shall see.

Crane has shown he cares less about the CBT when it comes to bringing back guys like JV, but I don't know what kind of draft penalties we're potentially facing by going over again.

I love that Seattle didn't bring back Suarez or Polanco. With the former now headed to Cincy, I expect things to pick up with Boston.

What Daddy Crane wants, Daddy Crane usually gets. Look at how we traded for JV from the Mets, Hader in FA, or Correa at last year's deadline. How badly does he want JV back?
