Except it may only be one year. Because next year may never happen. Or it may be very short. Either way I'll bet when the dust settles the players get a full year of service time credit.
Effectively Paredes (and other like him) are in a very interesting spot. And it devalues their trade return.

I at least appreciate Walker is trying. If it doesn't work, it's just another case of Father Time, but he shouldn't get a ton of hate. Love seeing guys put in work and care about their job.
