Overall $/WAR - 11.23 M
Expected 2+ WAR, $/WAR - 12.84 M

Let's put this into perspective. Jeremy Pena hits FA 2028 at age 30. If he wants a 5-year deal and his expected WAR is 15. 12.84 M * 15 = 192.6 M.

Yall willing to do that deal?

If he has a year like last year then yeah. Candidly where else are we spending? After him and HB we have no young guys worth extending so unless we are going back to sub $200M payrolls then it's either Pena or some other overpriced free agent.

I agree, if you don't want to spend money on your AS/GG insanely popular shortstop who hits .300 and has 20/20 ability, what are you looking for?

I am in this camp as well...my opinion on the ABS has always been that if a pitcher makes a pitch that touches the zone down and away from the batter, it shouldn't be left to a guy behind the catcher guessing. At the same time, if the pitcher misses and the batter holds his water, the batter shouldn't be punished for the same reason.

I just got a notification email from my MLB Ballpark App that I was forwarded 4 WBC tickets for Brazil vs Italy.

No idea who sent these to me or how I got them.

Anything script Aggies across all the sports is pretty much an instant buy for me. Which is also how I felt about the first rendition of the city connect for the Astros. Anything space city, I wanted.

The maroon script Aggie's jersey and the white with maroon pinstripes are my favorite.
