What years are you referring to for the Orioles? They were good 2013-2016 but I don't recall them trading anybody big away, at least not until they were in the suck for a couple years. They just had natural attrition of stars due to free agency and age.Booma94 said:RED AG 98 said:

I have to admit, I'm not all in on a fire sale. How many teams have tried it and been successful? The Orioles are among many teams that tried to play that game and never made it to the top of the mountain. Personally I'd rather be mediocre with stars like Yordan than trade away anyone worth watching in the hope of catching lightning in a bottle.
I'm all in on moving on from Espada, but I just can't buy in to the fire sale mentality.
