Why doesn't someone hire the TB decision makers?

Here's a dumb question for all of the "Fire Dana, Bring back Luhnow" guys out there.

Isn't it just a little bit strange that no other MLB franchise hired Luhnow after his firing? Is there any insight into why that might be?

AJ obviously got another job, as did Cora. So clearly the stigma of the Astros incident or of sign stealing in general didn't cause too big an issue for other clubs. Why has Luhnow remained unemployed?

Just wondering if anyone knows the scoop.

He's been unofficially blackballed by mlb. Pretty sure Manfred let it be known to all of the teams that it would be in their best interest not to hire him.

I also don't think Luhnow would go to work if he didn't think there was a fit.

As much as he says there was a blacklisting (there probably was), no huge scandal is seemingly without a McKinsey ******* at the center of it.

If you ask me what happened, Beltran orchestrated it, Hinch told them to stop, word from higher up came down that they could continue. Simple as that.

Must have overlooked that. Sorry to rehash a topic.

It's also been rumored that Luhnow had the dirt on certain other teams on a flash drive during a meeting with Rob if I remember right around the time of the "investigation" and walked away so the players didn't get punished. I'm sure Manfred wants no part of that can of worms being reopened.

Lunhow said about a year ago that he doesn't feel like he's been blackballed and he's had multiple teams reach out to him.

He said he's moved on and just really isn't interested anymore. But of course he may just be saying that because he has to

I predict a sweep. It feels like we haven't won a game against Seattle since 2023.

I think Luhnow was great, and would love to have him back. When the scandal broke, this site had the report posted by someone for about 10-15 minutes. I happened to be on when it was posted. Beltran was quoted by the players as saying ' you guys are way behind the times 'when he got to spring training. Beltran and Cora where the 2 main instigators of the scheme. Beltran was the alpha player in the clubhouse and not challenged.
Luhnow was considered arrogant by those in the organization, which led to no one sticking up for him. There's a great PBS documentary on the whole scandal
