I think ROKU will eventually pass the market cap of Netflix and Comcast. Industry is all going streaming. Streaming is ROKUs core business. For every ROKU competitor, streaming is not their core business. That's why ROKU will remain the market leader. Its very rare for a single company to be the market leader in more than one market. That is a big reason why I began investing in ROKU years ago.

Going to $1k...I'll bump this post when it hits that.

In for that ride. When I sold it was mostly to lock in some of the growth. But still hold 2/3 of original purchase.

Took a bit of profit this morning at $454, but holding my other 14 shares for the rest of the year. Here's hoping for $500.

OTOH, there's a conservative side of me that really just doesn't trust the geopolitical world not to screw me over

I still have way too many shares that I regret not selling at 490. I just fell into the red yesterday.

But at this point I figure I'll average down a bit and wait for the next climb. It has to end the year back above 400, right?

The 50% retracement would be around $280 right? So after it gets to that 280-290 range then it will either sell off or reverse and potentially move higher. I think $300 is a big enough magnet that it might stop there and reverse if it's going to or it might continue to $280.

I'm as deployed in individual stocks as I want to be right now. I'm hoping some of my other trades hit their targets about the time ROKU is reversing. I'd love to get back in it.

I got more shares at 318 this week.

I'd buy more except I'm so heavy in Roku, it's my largest holding. I need some diversification.

It's my only holding that is down YTD. But my first purchase was around $70 a few years ago, so I'm still way up. I think it's under valued at these prices. I'm holding for the long term unless there is a change in market trends.

Streaming is making cable and theaters obsolete, I'm long streaming and hold Roku and Netflix as my streaming plays.

Strongly considering getting out of airlines and moving that all over to ROKU.

I feel like that has a lot more room to run once it reverses...thoughts?

Seems like a big win for small businesses that use Spotify and of course a big win for Roku. Targeted TV advertising is very effective.

Every time it looks like the reversal is coming, bears keep pushing it back down.

At least I picked up a couple more shares at 310...

These are buying prices in my view. My thesis is Roku market cap will eventually surpass Netflix and Comcast. Im in this one for the long haul.

So many solid software companies I wish I had more money to buy. With this Chinese market collapse looming seriously thinking of selling off some index ETFs to go more into specific companies.

Sold a bit more LUV to buy more ROKU shares. Not all though.

I'm twice as heavy on ROKU as I was in July. I still feel good about it as a long-term and even medium term buy. I think it closes the year above 400.

ROKU upgraded to Hold (C) on Schwab.

Increased my position to 66 shares today across my brokerage and roth accounts. Couldn't help myself with the huge dip.

Really hope we're nearing bottom here.

Big reversal this week. Hope it continues.
