Totally uninspired play. Low energy on the court and bench. Team looked scared to lose. Like they were surprised a 15-seed would even try to compete with them. Just trying to hang on instead of attacking. Very stupid to foul like that up 4 at the end of the game. That's on Blair. Then the over and back. Woof. Very glad we survived but that kind of play won't take us much further. Barely avoided an embarrassing defeat. Credit to Troy for battling. They took it to us and we were stunned.
I can see how that last call may not have been the right call.

I feel like in recent years, Ags have struggled with lower seeds in the first or second rounds.

but just look at the last call. If the ref didn't call the foul before the over and back, then yes, it should have been Troy's ball. If you look at the replay, we were fouled before crossing the line and after crossing the line. Either way, we were very lucky. They played very well for the last 10 min I watched.

I have been through waaay to many Gary Blair games like this..... Wish I could just give it up.
That was a very poorly coached game and we seem to have lost our mojo. Carryover from the SEC tournament perhaps, but Iowa State will eat our lunch if we play this way. Give Troy credit. They played their asses off and punched us in the mouth while doing it. If this isn't a wake up call idk what is.

I watched the replay 3 times and I don't see a foul before we crossed the midcourt line. We got several huge breaks on ref calls, but none bigger than that one. It was a close contest as to who performed worse - our team, the announcers, or the refs. I think the refs took the crown.TexAg15 said:
