We could try not making coaches responsible for building a fan base personally like Blair did…how about if we market men's and women's sports equally well and hold the AD accountable for game day environment including attendance? We like blaming students so why not aim that at the adults instead…

I hope the best for Coach Bond regardless of where she ends up. I firmly believe she is capable of fulfilling any role in a program or athletic department. Find a way to let her represent Texas A&M regardless. Then let her choose.

Hate to get pulled into the race debate but if you don't think some recruits who are black wouldn't be excited to play for a young black female coach, you are trying way to hard to avoid race as a factor. It doesn't have to be racist to be true.

I agree though it's mostly about winning though. Just don't think you can dismiss it as a factor.

On merit alone this seems like a solid, high floor, hire that hopefully has a ceiling with some up side. I love going young here.
