This right here! Speaks volumes. Our players will only get more comfortable playing with each other, I see so much increasing potential!! There is a fire in this team we haven't seen in a while, and it's amazing that they love playing together! In the age of NIL/college celebrities, that's not always the case. Defensive disruption is what's going to make this team a contender/shock opponents.

We did see that defensive disruption from Joni's system shine at different points last season. Upsetting Ole Miss & Kentucky (considering our record it appeared like a total anomaly), and playing NILsu neck and neck until Coulibaly went down

Let's get into the Elko mindset of celebrating the present moment and focusing on one game at a time! This team isn't interested in holding onto baggage from past seasons, so we don't have to either.

Excited to see all the support on here!! Thanks & Gig 'Em Aggie fam!

If we don't just dribble the ball across mid court and pick up the dribble, then there has been improvement over previous years.

When Gary Blair was at Stephen F and taking teams to the ncaa tournament almost every year, I used to wonder why we couldn't hire him away (which Arkansas did) or at least have a coach that could field a more competitive program.

The worst thing that could happen here is for Joni to be just competitive enough to make Trev think that an extension is the right thing to do. With nil and the portal, I am thinking we might reasonably be a bubble team in year 2 with the right coach. Certainly no need to give anyone a contract longer than that.

I don't claim any great knowledge or insight. I thought Joni was a great hire at the time, with all of her recruiting contacts from team usa. Just goes to show how little I know.
