Much less. It's mostly track homes. What makes Salado higher is how it was built. Until 2 years ago there was no sewer system. Everything from houses to the grocery store and restaurants had to run on septic. What this did was keep Salado boutique-ish and the vast majority of homes custom on estate size (.5 acre minimum) size lots. For instance we live on a smaller lot in our portion and it's just under an acre. For septics needed half acre minimums mostly. The east side of 35 in Salado will remain high and the new subdivisions will mostly be on west side of 35. Finally, schools in Salado usually deemed as some of the better ones around.
