Pine Shadows in Lake Charles
Bayou Oaks in Carlyss (just south of Lake Charles)
(Old)Mallard Cove in Lake Charles

But Lake Charles has more than it's fair share of good golf for the size of the town.

I am in the process of identifying all golf courses that have existed within 100 miles of Houston in the past 100 years - all those that still exist as well as all those that have closed. As a TAMU graduate in Agronomy in 1976, I have worked in the golf course business in this area for almost 50 years (as a GC Supt as well as consultant) I have begun compiling my list and would look forward to having an audience that could review my list as well as add courses. As an old guy, my tech skills ain't great- but I'm good at texting, faxing, and mailing!! LOL Let me know how I can be a part of this thread

Can you email? If so, you can email me the list and I will post it. Otherwise, you might be looking at just typing it into texags.

Another option would be to take a picture of the list and text it to someone to post. Might have to break it up into a couple pics, but it will work.
