If not then most likely Miramont. A&M range shut down and I don't ever see them at Pebble.
Didn't they screw Don back in the day when Traditions was being built or is that just an urban legend?

Wow. Embarrassing for all involved in that operation.

I wonder if they 'signed off and accepted' the soil conditions prior to the install. They'd be fools not to have that clause.SPI-FlatsCatter 84 said:DonHenley said:

The grass company was/is responsible for a successful result. They are the "installers"
Its on them to get it right and even though behind schedule, they're getting it done ……. Extra cost out of the growers pocket.
Yes it's frustrating for members but the end result will hopefully help us forget quickly.
I'm thinking Spring '25 for full opening

That's what I heard as well.Funky Winkerbean said:Quote:

Not true. Typically, the responsibility falls to the golf course as soon as the sprinklers are turned on following the installation. With sprigs, this happens within minutes.

I was in the pro shop today and they're still claiming full course opens late Nov. and some of the par 3 opens mid month
id imagine the budget allowed to manicure grass is vastly different between traditions and Aggie athleticsDiego said:
Texas A&M is amazing at growing grass. Just see Kyle Field, Olsen Field, Ellis Field, etc. Damn near perfect.
Traditions doesn't seem to have leveraged Texas A&M's expertise.
Renovations are normal in country club settings. The first attempt they used sprigs and they take 2-3 months to mature when it goes correctly. The sprigging failed and now they are sodding the fairways to still try and meet the promised date of completion.jja79 said:
What's the cost to the reputation and lost revenue? If it's as it seems I can't imagine selling many memberships.

I'm pretty sure they've arranged some sort of privileges at Pebble Creek.

I understand that. When the new course was built at Houston Oaks they arranged for us to have playing privileges Sandhill Farms. Have they arranged playing privileges elsewhere?
