Sean Miller isn't boring, it would just mean the search would be boring. I like a good wild coaching search. I want hot boards that include everyone from Bill Self to Royal Ivey.
Will Wade has gone from saying the quiet part out loud on a federal wiretap to doing it an interview on @TheFieldOf68 after his McNeese team beat Clemson.

And maybe how he’s handling this situation is how most coaches should handle job transitions.https://t.co/8DCYaqirVu pic.twitter.com/i702aAE61c
That would be a terrible hire. And very nepo. Major red flag from our AD if that happenedJJxvi said:

First to coach a 16 seed to beat a 1 seed. Virginia was that 1 seed.bobinator said:

BREAKING: Texas has informed head coach Rodney Terry he's been fired, sources told ESPN. Terry led the Longhorns to the Elite Eight in 2023 and made NCAA tournament appearances in each of the last two seasons. pic.twitter.com/fJ3UsiDCIt

Rodney Terry is officially out. Ben McCollum is a no brainer. Might not be flashy steal a guy from a big time program that CDC likes, but he is the right hire. Haven't heard any rumors though
Xavier is an interesting possibility though - Jesuit school, like Marquette. I can definitely see Buzz being a good personality fit at a faith-based institution.bobinator said:
No clue. I'd think if he already had another job lined up it would basically be immediate but otherwise who knows.

This means nothing.Quote:
They don't play football, which he seems to have valued when leaving Marquette. I'd imagine he'd want serious promises when it comes to rev share and NIL to go to a non football playing school.
Miller was making $4.5 million at Xavier, more or less what Buzz makes here. Xavier has the money if it wants to spend it.20ag07 said:This means nothing.Quote:

Buzz found 10000 words to say about why he was leaving Marquette.
And if he leaves here, he will find 10000 words to say about why he went wherever.
(I don't think he's lying when he says them.)
But you can't read into "he said this thing before". You can read into "he will take a paycut."

Those skins have decomposed as they are so old. When he was cheating he was great. After that he has been average. I'm not saying it's a bad hire, but I expected them to make a massive hire and they didn't. Doesn't mean that he cant take them to a final 4, but I don't think college basketball is saying; "Oh wow, Texas isn't messing around". It's more like, "that's a nice hire"._lefraud_ said:justsomeguy said:

Lolz. Calipari and then maybe Barnes are the only coaches in the league with more skins than Sean Miller.
