So this year the conference tournaments mattered and the non-conference SOS not so much.

This is actually a pretty good bracket for us.. Yale and Michigan is as doable as a bracket to get to Atlanta as we can hope. Louisville got screwed, and surprised ISU got the 3 and UNC in!?!?

On the plus side.....Texas is cooked.
They would have to be in over both Indiana AND Xavier AND Boise State. Most bracketologists have them behind all 3.

Yale only shoots 8 threes a game. We obviously have better athletes and let's be honest, no one was focused on Yale 7 days ago. I have BAS but they don't scare me. Our rebounding should keep us moving on.

I like UCSD to beat Michigan in my initial thoughts. I don't mind the Yale matchup.
Its pretty fascinating to understand why we are not a 3 seed. Clearly after we beat Auburn and LSU we were not a 4 seed in anybody's bracket. Need an explanation

Louisville gets to play in Lexington, like they did against us in 07.

Think our resume was clearly a slight notch above ISU in our bracket, but Auburn as our 1 is good matchup for us. Obviously Yale/Michigan is not great as far as matchups go for us, but neither team are world beaters. Michigan ended the regular season in a similar funk to us.
Yale made their season all on quad 4 wins. Their one quad 1 loss was against Purdont!

Because they needed to make sure we are matched up against opponents that line up well against us. It's all a conspiracy

Are we Thursday or Friday? Bracket said Thursday but scroll at bottom says Friday.
the 3 seed in Denver got paired with BYU. That would have been a much worse matchup for us than Michigan is.
Yale has three Q3 losses and went 2-2 in Q1/Q2 games. There are much worse matchups

The committee will always use whatever narrative they need for cover to get the teams in they want and or screw the ones they want.
