bracketing principles dictate what pod teams go to and it isnt a snake....
bracketing principles would mean that Yale, the top seeded 13 should go to the closest geographic site....which of course would have been Providence to go play Purdue....but Yale already played Purdue earlier this year, so they get the next closest which is Denver and us.

South not only has the top #1 seed and top #4 seed. But also the top 5 seed, 8 seed, top 9 seed, top 12 and top 13 seed too.

Well I'm a bit disappointed but I can't imagine how livid I would be as a West Virginia fan. I don't think I saw a single bracket that even had them as a last 4 in.
And for the crowd using this as a I told you so, we were almost a 5 seed. No…. You are wrong. We were 1 spot away from a #3 seed and matching our highest seed ever in program history. Michigan State beats Wisconsin and we are a 3.

No. 76 in the Net though, so not as terrible as their conference finish would imply. LSU finished No. 89, so better than one of Texas' SEC wins.
At the end of the day it was Texas' wins over A&M (2) Kentucky, Mizzou, OU, Vandy, and Miss. State -all teams dancing - that likely did the trick.

That is only considering the top 4 seed lines. The disparity is way worse when considering the entire region.
They don't do that though right? Only the top four teams are considered for balancing the strength of the regions?

When your best ooc win is #76 that's pathetic. We got ripped in years when we beat multiple top 50 teams.
Sure Texas beat some tourney teams…
West Virginia beat:
Gonzaga, Arizona, Kansas, Iowa State
And in addition to their quad 1 wins (6) they went 4-3 in quad 2. Texas was 2-5. It's inexcusable negligence.
If you want to put Texas or unc in over Indiana, Xavier or San Diego state that's fine. But no one had West Virginia even in Dayton.
