We will defend the drive decent, then if Yale hits their threes and don't foul, we will be in trouble. Particularly because both teams will milk the clock all game.
Garcia will light it up with 3-balls.MarcAg said:
I expect Yale to pack it into the lane and dare us to make open shots. They double the post a lot, so we need to make good passes and hit open shots.
You're erratic with your commentary.Done7 said:
Wade Taylor is to erratic. A&M is primed to get sent home early this year.
I also think the athleticism of our team, especially Solo, when it comes to defending some of their best shooters, hopefully.MarcAg said:
Yeah I was thinking last night Wilcher's shooting and Phelp's ability to get to the bucket are going to be the keys.

Chances are Yale folds up in the face of a q1 opponent. TheY have only faced 1 … Purdue. They didn't get blown out but they lost. They are not accustomed to playing the the kind of athletes we have . Could we lay an egg and lose … yeah… but I'd say it's less than 10% probability. A double digit win by the Ags is much more likely than a Yale W imo.

Who said they're short? I said they're small around the basket, not small across the board. But I think the size of the guards will help a little because they don't be able to just blow by Taylor and Phelps.
They would be GIDDY to hop on here and whine about Buzz. I think there would be people who would be happier if we have a first round exit than make it to the elite 8.bobinator said:
What percentage of the "I hope I'm wrong" people actually hope they're wrong?

A&M has zero buzz going into the tournament. Most people are picking Yale. I dont think anyone is predicting us to make it the 2nd weekend.
Why is that?

It's easy. They look at the shooting numbers and say this team can't win with this kind of shooting. It's 100% about the shooting stats.
Yeah, I do not think you are one of the people I was talking about. I definitely do think there are people who pop up after losses that would be happy if we lost round one to feel vindicated about the negative takes they have.Method Man said:Zachary Klement said:They would be GIDDY to hop on here and whine about Buzz. That's R worded. Some of us are negative and look for confirmation bias to prove what we see is right. That doesn't mean we want A&M to lose. I've seen this forever on Aggie message boards along with "we could win a NC and there'd be people complaining". Please stop with these dumb arguments. We are a huge school that has never won **** in the big 3 sports. Maybe mix it up and expect more like winners do.
