Comparing Big 12 FB results with SEC football or basketball this year is delusional. Virtually every Big 12 team that made the playoffs got curb stomped when they ran up against the SEC. If I'm a TCU fan, I wouldn't even care we made the natty after a 60-point loss.

Decent job? He's never gotten us past the top 32 teams in the tournament. In six years. Damn man. We're Texas A&M. One of the largest universities in the entire country. We have an endowment valued at over $20 billion. Two tournament wins in six years isn't decent.

It is like common commentator phrase. Like, the game starts on tv, and the play-by-play man opens with "there's a palpable buzz in the arena tonight as…"

A basketball media member named Jon Rothstein has a catch phrase that he posts after certain teams win usually relating to the coach. Like he posts "Miracle Mac" when Tech wins, referring to McCasland. "Palpable Buzz Williams" is his catch phrase for when A&M wins

Buzz is a decent coach. He is likely going to get us into the tourny or close and then maybe a win. What he is not going to get us is a final four. So the real question is what is the expectation and what resources are we going to throw at it? My problem with Buzz has been that we pay him with the upper echelon of coaches. Which is obviously par for the course with A&M? I am not familiar with our NIL spend on basketball and Reed was never built for a top notch basketball program. So I think Buzz is the right guy for A&M if were not going to commit to the program. Just stop worrying about him leaving and stop throwing top tier money at him.
