I say a little worried, but I don't think he's on any draft boards and wasn't invited to the nba combine! It'll be smart for him to give college another year or two

He earned an invite this weekend. From the gleague camp he was at they invite a select few to the combine. He was one of the few this past weekend. He has a few weeks until he has to pull his name out.

Even with him going to the combine it does seem like he'll still come. Most things still point this way. But, don't blame him for going and getting the experience. It'll help him for after next year.

Still wondering where that thread went.

Was it simply deleted?

Moved to "thread heaven"?

Looks like we will likely count on the ten we have for our rotation - and 5 on 5 practices - and hope some other players want to suit up later...

Jeff Van Gundy told Mac McClung years ago something along the lines of "you are never going to get drafted. Your best bet to make the NBA is to leave school immediately, go to the G League, and spend all of your time trying to develop the specific skills that could give a chance to carve out a role in the NBA." This was before NIL took off and applied to a player with a very limited ceiling, but it is an interesting take on the usual advice to stay in school until you are a first-rounder.

So we have 10 guys with as many as 6-8 that I'd say have reasonably demonstrated they can play at this level . Seems like we need a few more in this kind of system to expect a bubble team or better . Perhaps the staff is confident the other 2-4 can fill the bill but it's been awful quiet here lately. Anyone know who else they may be targeting?
