Man, only a few years ago a 32 year old white dude from Penn State hit 24 three pointers against us to put us out of the tourney.

Hope they find that dude in their roster and he goes off against Maryland.

Sorry for Solo and Payne, but they should have stayed.

Thank god he has to share his weak philosophy with someone else these days. Damn that got old.

Must see TV. Or at least on my phone on the golf course. Perfect 10AM tip for me. Next 3 after this are at Illinois, at Michigan State and home for Purdue so it's now or never to get a win.

I thought of myself as a Buzz fan at the beginning of his time here. With him coming home to Texas, this seemed like a destination job and he'd been successful everywhere. But, his styie of play and the whole "5-year-job cycle" thing wore on me. Bottom line, I'll likely find myself rooting for Penn State today.

I think this is funny. I love Bucky Ball. We looked good and still with several things we can work on cleaning up. Buzz was an A hole.

At the end of the day I don't really care. Never met him. But I'll never quite understand how he became so hated around here. Some of the most fun moments I've ever had as an Aggie hoops fan came under his regime.

Getting compared to Schloss is just laughable

I wish people could just be happy we seem to have hit the jackpot with Bucky rather than make everything a "gotcha" at the man

i had been in your boat for a long time. i liked buzz or at least the perception he displayed. however the more i read about the guy it made me see where some peopl coudlnbecoming from. buzz is all about buzz. he acts and says things the make it seem like he is not but all roads lead back to buzz. his hypocrisy is annoying.

Him retiring a players number while the player was still playing showed all you needed to know about Buzz.

I don't hate the guy nor wish bad things on him. He has had his share of success and I don't begrudge him for it. He did what he did for financial reasons , 6 more yrs of high pay that he wasn't going to get here .

I think Bucky has the better long term plan tho, embrace the Administration and the students and fan base and work with them rather than doing your thing in your laboratory under lock and key. Buzz is a good coach, Bucky is a better coach and program leader.

Let me preface this by saying I was excited when we hired him to come coach here.

There were some of us who were critical of him for a good two years before he left. Could never get out of the first weekend of the tournament, but then acted like he was gods gift to basketball and life coaching.

He captivated and kept the Brazos valley contingent at bay with all of his platitudes and life coaching, such a nice guy schtick stuff, but was also doing things like keeping the team in the locker room to skip the national anthem, and then you have that whole nonsense last year going into the tournament with the social media racism stuff.

He never really won anything that mattered here, and couldn't get out of the first weekend on the tournament. All while getting top 10 to 15 college basketball coaching pay.

And it is clear that he intended to leave the school with how he set up the roster last year, and then took all the incoming guys with him to Maryland. Everyone acts like he was such a nice guy, but he really tried to hatchet the program on the way out the door.

Good riddance to him and every loss Maryland takes should bring a little smile to the face of anybody who cares about Aggie basketball.

since maryland has taken two of our coaches- I can't help but be happy to see buzz fail too. Add in--- especially when you realize, in hindsight, so much of what buzz said was bull*****

Maryland's arena holds 18,000 and the crowd today resembles a neutral site high school holiday tournament.

A truly pathetic start by Buzz.

Maryland building a nice early lead but the fans are not enjoying it.

We’ve had our handful of struggles lately and attendance has been down but the crowd at this Maryland game is alarming
