Look at VTs history before he got there, not to mention that making the tournament was rare.

Making the NCAA tournament his last 3 years there which had never happened at VT before (they had made it twice in the previous 30 years).
He did a great job at VT and they were shocked when he left.
Since Marquette(13 years ago), he's been to or past the sweet 16 one time.
For such a highly paid coach, it's been quite a while since he's had a team that's really made any kind of noise.

It's gimmick **** to not let your guys go the locker room.. and instead do that in the hallway for cameras to see... By the way, it didn't work .. they came out really flat after dominating the first half.
Stretching in the loading bay seems like a big nothing burger. Lots to make fun of but that one seems odd. I'd have my team warming up in an open area too

How long do you want to ignore this user?
Some schools leadership might worry they wouldn't be able to attract a coach after giving a current coach 1 year and then cutting them loose. However, if Maryland keeps playing with no improvement, the school leadership may have to worry that they will be unable to attract athletes. If Buzz does not improve play, I could see Maryland cutting him loose. Fired for cause,....impersonating a coach. I was a Buzz supporter, but how he left our program.....gutted.....no relationship with AD it appears.....and jerking the Las Vegas tournament....I don't have a lot of good to say. He showed some interesting colors in has wake.
He's got a very good recruiting class coming in. He will get atleast another year(minimum).
